- The learner logs in the SF My Poral Site
- The learner view the Classes and Training options
- The learner selects the topic of training they are looking for
- The scrolls down the page and find the class they are looking for, and clicks on the Enroll link
- The learner is directed into the class option in SF Learning.
- The learner clicks on the Enroll link in SF Learning
- The learner is prompted that an approval request has been sent for the enrollment
- The learner receives an email indicating their enrollment is pending approval
- The learner can see their enrollment is in a pending status
- After all 3 approvers (Supervisor, Department Personnel Officer, and Department Finance Approver) have approved the learning request, the learner receives a confirmation email that their learning has been approved
- The learners can then see their enrollment status is enrolled
- After the notification process is run in SF Learning, the learner will receive their enrollment confirmation email

About email notifications
SF Learning sends notifications to your business email address. Check your spam folder if you cannot find your confirmation email. If you are still unable to find your confirmation email, contact your Department IT to verify the email address in the Citywide Active Directory. They may have to update your email if you completed the request process, but did not receive the notification in your current work email inbox.
