Purpose of this Article: This solution article provides information about the My Team Learning tile in SF Learning to view your direct report's learning information.

Supervisors and managers of the City & County of San Francisco and Superior Court can access the My Team Learning tile from their SF Learning homepage. The My Team Learning tile provides learning information for their direct reports. If their direct reports have a team, they can drill down to view their team members' learning information as well. This tile helps managers track and ensure completion of required trainings.




Read the sections below to learn about the three pages under the My Team Learning tile.



I. Team Learning - Reports To: This page allows you to view learning information for your direct reports. If your direct report has a team, you can drill down and view learning information for their team members as well.




1. Request New Learning link and Pending Approvals section - currently not in use.


2. View Team Members Reporting To - Defaults to your name. If you have a direct report with employees reporting to them, toggle the selection button and click the Go button to view their list of direct reports.


3. Direct Reports - This section lists the direct reports for the supervisor that appears in the View Team Members Reporting To field. The list of direct reports is based on position Reports To information in SF People & Pay.

Note: If the list of direct reports is inaccurate, please contact your department Human Resources unit so they can correct position Reports To information.


4. Name of direct reports - Click your direct report's name, and view basic information such as, their Employee ID, Learner ID, etc.


5. Action - Click the Action drop-down field and click Go to view an employee's learning information or certification status, which are also available in the other two pages under your My Team Learning tile. Refer to the next two sections for more information.

Note: The Add Supplemental Learning feature is currently unavailable.



II. Team Learning - Direct Reports: This page allows you to view learning information only for your own direct reports. Use the filters on this page to refine your view of learning information for your comprehensive list of direct reports, or for a specific direct report.



1. Search Filter - Select a drop-down value and click Go to filter your view:

  • All learning - any status, type or date
  • Completed learning for this calendar year
  • Learning for last 90 days, not dropped or deleted


2. For - Select your preference and click Go to view the list of learning information for all of your direct reports or a specific direct report.


3. Team Learning - lists your direct reports based on filters you selected. This provides you the:

  • Name of your Learner/direct report
  • Title of the course
  • Type of course
  • Status of the course
  • Applicable Date of the status


4. Number of visible rows - By default the page will list only the first 10 rows of data. View additional rows by clicking the:

  • Down arrow to select your preferred 10 rows of data
  • Right arrow to move to the next set of 10 rows
  • Right arrow with a pipe to view the last page of data
  • View All link to see all rows of data that exist based on your filters


5. Click the Title of the course to view course information.



III. Certification Status: This page lists certification status information for your employees. Note that this reflects information only for courses that have true certifications. The page will not provide information regarding completion certificates for standard SF Learning courses or for training added as Supplemental Learning.




1. View - Select one of the values from the drop-down and click Go to filter your view of the information listed on this page:

  • All Certifications
  • Certified
  • Expired
  • Warning


2. For Select your preference and click Go to view the list of certification status for all of your direct reports or a specific direct report.


3. View History & Recertify - Click these links to view certification history or to recertify your direct report.



Questions?

Contact your department Human Resources (HR) unit if your list of direct reports is incorrect so they can update the information in SF People & Pay. The list of direct reports under your My Team Learning will refresh based on the updates that your HR team makes.
