This article lists the tiles available on the Workforce Administration homepage, which link users to Navigation Collections (Nav Collections) that provide access to transactional pages, queries and reports in SF People & Pay.


 

 


Below is a list of tiles accessible through the Workforce Administration homepage.   Note that access to these tiles are based on security roles driven by the functional tasks performed in the system.  You will not see tiles for Nav Collections that you do not have access to.

 

Tiles Specific to the Homepage:

  • Classification & Compensation – intended for the Department of Human Resources Classification & Compensation unit, links users to transactional pages related to classification and compensation information, e.g., Job Code Table, Salary Plan

 

  • Job Data – links users to transactional pages related to job and personal information, e.g., Job Data, CCSF Job Appointment Summary, CCSF Person Checklist, Modify a Person.  Also links users to reports, e.g., CCSF Termination Report, POI with Active Appt, TEX reports.

 

  • New Hire Processing – links users to transactional pages to process and update new appointee information, e.g., Smart HR Transactions, Emergency Contact, and CCSF Designee.  Also allows users to access existing or previous job information, e.g., CCSF Job Appointment Summary, CCSF Employment Restrictions.

 

  • Person of Interest – intended for users responsible for managing Person of Interest (POI) records, links users to transactional pages, e.g., Add a Person, Maintain POI Relationship

 

  • Position Administration – links users to a sub-page containing tiles that lead to transactional pages and reports related to position management
    • Position Administration – Create/Update Positions – links users to the Manage/Create Position page, where they can create new positions and update the attributes of existing position information
    • Position Management – links users to transactional pages where they can view existing position information and other pages related to the position management process, e.g., Add/Update Position Info (page strictly for viewing position information), CCSF Department Budget Recon, RTF Center.  Also links users to position management-related reports, e.g., CCSF Active Position Rpt, Positions Not Reconciled.
    • Position Approval – intended for users responsible for approving Requests to Fill, links users to Mass Approval Inbox and Approval Inbox

 

  • Retirees – intended for users responsible for managing Retiree records, links users to Job Data, Other Payee, CCSF Retirement Information

 

  • System Administration – intended for the Systems Division of the Controller’s Office

 


Tiles Shared Across the Workforce Administration and Payroll Administration Homepages:

  • Query Viewer – links users to the Query Viewer to access My Favorite Queries and other available queries

 

  • Report Manager – links users to the Report Manager, where users can retrieve distributed reports, and reports run by the user 

 

  • Reports & Analytics – links users to SF Reports & Analytics

 

  • User Support - links users to the SF Employee Portal Support site enabling users to review solution articles and submit support tickets.
