The Office of the Controller and the Department of Human Resources held two Paid Parental Leave Pay (PPL) trainings during the week of April 15, 2019. The three documents below were presented during the events. PPL HR policy and requests to correct extended leave information should be directed to DHR’s Equal Employment Opportunity Division at (415) 557-4953 and payroll policy questions and calculations for extended leave to the Controller’s Payroll Division at (415) 554-7100.


NOTE: Effective July 1, 2020, California’s Paid Family Leave benefit was extended from 6 weeks to 8 weeks.
