Purpose of this Article: To provide Bidders and Suppliers with a file that shows the high-level NIGP codes. This file can be used by Bidders and Suppliers as an aid to help them find the proper codes that can be used to identify the products/services they provide. Properly identifying these codes will facilitate the automatic sending of notifications to Bidders/Suppliers whose category of products/services are being sought after in a City Sourcing Event. In addition, this should eventually help City Users to proactively identify providers of various products/services.
